Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions. I've got honest answers.

Below are the questions I hear most often about life redesign coaching, the Redesign Programme, and working together. If you don't see your question here, email me or book a free Clarity Call.

Getting Started

  • No. This is a genuine conversation to see if we're a good fit. If coaching isn't right for you, I'll tell you. If I'm not the right coach for you, I'll tell you that too. I'm selective about who I work with – this has to be right for both of us. If it's not, I'd rather be honest about that upfront than waste your time or mine.

  • No prep needed. Just come ready to be honest about where you are with your business. The more truthful you are about how you really feel – not how you think you should feel – the more useful the call will be. But there's nothing you need to prepare or bring.

  • If you're questioning whether you need help, something's not working. Let's talk about it and figure out what you're actually dealing with. Most entrepreneurs wait too long because they think they should be able to figure it out themselves.

But here's the thing: you can't see what you're inside of. Sometimes you just need someone outside your business, outside your life, to help you see clearly.

The Decision

  • No. And that's the point. Redesign isn't about demolition. My clients who stayed in their businesses redesigned HOW they engaged with them – new roles, new boundaries, new structures.

My clients who left didn't "throw it away" – they transitioned strategically. You're not starting over. You're designing what's next FROM where you are.

  • This work isn't about making impulsive decisions. It's about getting SO CLEAR on what you want that when you make a decision, you're confident in it. We explore multiple scenarios and test your assumptions before you make any big moves.

By the end, you'll KNOW whether staying or going is right – not because I told you, but because you've done the work to discover it yourself.

  • This call won't force you into any decisions. We're exploring, not deciding. Even if leaving eventually makes sense, we'd spend many sessions getting clear on what comes next before you do anything. You're not making any big moves based on one 50-minute conversation – you're just getting clarity on what you're actually dealing with.

Self-Doubt

  • Perfect. That's exactly what we figure out together. Most entrepreneurs come to me saying "I don't know who I am without this business." Through the work, they reconnect with themselves. Not knowing is the starting point, not a disqualifier.

And here's what I've learned: you DO know what you want. You've just been too busy, too guilty, or too afraid to listen to it.

  • You absolutely could try. And you probably have been trying – for months, maybe years.

But here's why it's not working: You're too close to it. You can't see the forest for the trees. Your business is wrapped up in your identity, your finances, your relationships, your sense of self-worth. You can't get objective perspective on something you're inside of. It's like trying to read the label from inside the bottle.

You don't need more thinking. You need someone outside your business, outside your life, with no agenda except helping you get clear. That's what coaching gives you – perspective you literally cannot get alone.

  • No. Whether you've been feeling this way for six months or six years, it's not too late. The work is the same: getting clear on what you actually want and designing a path forwards. You're not "too far gone" – you're just ready to stop carrying this alone.

About the Programmes

  • Six months, with 20 sessions total. We typically meet weekly (18 one-hour sessions), plus a 90-minute Foundation Session at the start and a 90-minute Closing Session at the end. There's also a Review Check-in a few weeks after we finish. Most people follow a roughly weekly rhythm, but we're flexible if life gets in the way.

  • The Redesign Programme is six months of coaching (20 sessions) for when you need to figure out what comes next – whether that's staying in your business and redesigning your role, exiting strategically, or something else entirely. The Reset Session is a single 90-minute conversation for when you need an outside perspective on one specific thing that's keeping you stuck, or you just need to say everything out loud to someone who isn't in your life.

If you're not sure which makes sense for you, that's exactly what the free Clarity Call is for – we'll figure it out together.

  • Yes, in my private practice I only work with women. I've found that women are under-supported in business – especially when it comes to the quiet, identity-based struggles that don't look like "problems" from the outside. That's the work I specialise in, and I do it best with women.

  • There is a payment plan available (3 x £1,300), which spreads the investment over six months. If even that feels out of reach right now, I'd suggest the Reset Session (£295 for a single 90-minute session) as a starting point. Sometimes one conversation is enough to get you unstuck – and if not, you'll have more clarity on whether saving up for the Redesign Programme makes sense.

What I wouldn't recommend is waiting years because you're trying to save up. If you've been stuck for six months or more, the cost of staying stuck (in your health, your relationships, your business performance) is higher than the cost of coaching.

  • We can – but I'd recommend against it. This work is about incremental unravelling – rediscovering who you are, what you actually want, trying new approaches, making changes (some small, some big). Weekly sessions let us reflect on things swiftly, process them while they're fresh, and keep you connected to what you need and want.

Two weeks between sessions gives your mind time to do what it likes to do: cast doubt, tell you it's not working, convince you that you don't need it. You're trying to step out of autopilot – and in my experience, that's most effective when we chip away at it weekly, not fortnightly. The rhythm of weekly sessions also helps the work compound. You're not losing momentum or forgetting what we uncovered.

That said, we're flexible. If weekly genuinely doesn't work for your schedule, we'll find a rhythm that does.

  • The first three sessions are an intentional orientation phase, so you can really experience how we work together and decide whether this feels right for where you are now. If after those three sessions you decide it isn’t the right fit, you can step away and you’ll receive a full refund – no pressure, no awkwardness.

If you do commit to the work and show up fully, but we both agree your changes aren’t yet quite stable by the end of the 20 sessions, I’ll include up to two additional Closing Sessions at no extra cost – just enough support to help you land the work well.

Practical Concerns

  • This is so common. People who haven't built businesses don't understand why you can't just "be happy with what you have."

    They don't see that:

    • Success doesn't automatically equal fulfilment

    • Your identity is wrapped up in this business

    • The business working doesn't mean YOU'RE okay

    • This isn't about being ungrateful – it's about being honest

Here's what I tell my clients: You don't need their permission to invest in yourself.

But if it helps, you can explain it like this:

"I've spent 10+ years building this business. I'm not unhappy with the business itself – I'm trying to figure out what I want my life to look like for the next 20 years. I want to work with someone who specialises in helping entrepreneurs navigate this exact question. It's like hiring a consultant – but for my life, not my business."

Most partners respect that once they understand you're being strategic, not having a breakdown.

And honestly? When you get clear and confident in your decision, they'll see the change in you. That's usually when they get it.

  • Because I'm not teaching you how to scale or sell. You already know how to run a business (or can hire experts for the technical stuff). My expertise is in helping you figure out what you WANT – and that's a completely different skill set.

Here's the thing: I've run businesses. I know what it's like to be responsible for your own income, to make decisions that affect your livelihood, and to carry the weight of being "the one in charge".

But more importantly, I understand the psychology of achievement, identity, and life transitions. I understand why successful people get stuck. I understand the guilt, the fear, and the "what will people think?" paralysis.

You don't need another business strategist. You need someone who can help you see what you can't see when you're inside your own life. That's what 17 years of coaching high-achievers has taught me – and that's what this work requires.

  • Great question. That's exactly what the Reset Session or free Clarity Call helps you figure out.

Sometimes you DO just need a holiday or better boundaries. But if you've been feeling this way for 6+ months... if you're fantasising about burning it down... if the thought of doing this for 20 more years makes you want to cry – that's not temporary burnout. That's a signal you've outgrown something. And no amount of rest will fix that.

Timing & Availability

  • If we both feel it's the right fit, we can schedule your Foundation Session as early as a few days after your clarity call.

I work with 4-6 clients at a time in the Redesign Programme, so if I'm at capacity, there might be a short wait – but I'll let you know straight away during our clarity call.

Payment (either the full £3,600 or the first instalment of £1,300) is due before your Foundation Session, and I'll send you all the details once we've scheduled it.

  • That's completely fine. Book a Clarity Call whenever you're ready – even if that's three months from now. If we talk now and you're not ready to start immediately, we can schedule your Foundation Session for whenever works for you. I'm happy to hold a spot if we both know it's the right fit.
